As we step into October, we are excited to share some important updates and celebrate our club's recent successes!
STYL
The schedule for our South Tampa Youth League will be live this Monday! Please remember to RSVP to each game on playmetrics!
Online Shop
Due to last week's storm, our online shop has experienced a delay as our printer partner was directly affected. We will update you as soon as we’re able to bring the shop back online. Thank you for your understanding!
Media Day
We’re thrilled to announce that our club will be hosting a Media Day! More details will be shared soon, we’re planning to hold the event in November. Stay tuned!
Weather Policy
In accordance with our weather policy aligned with The Prep, a 30-minute lightning delay will be implemented if lightning is detected within range. If the weather radar indicates ongoing storms, we will cancel practice. Please be assured that all updates and instructions will be communicated through Playmetrics.
If we secure the indoor gym at The Prep, we will notify you. However, if you’re instructed to wait in your cars, please do so and refrain from dropping off your children unless we have confirmed gym access. We don’t always have the gym available, and it’s important to respect The Prep’s management and their policies.

Tournament update
We’re thrilled to announce that the tournament schedules for this season have been released! Please keep in mind that schedules may change, and additional tournaments may be added as the season progresses, so stay tuned for updates.
RSVP Reminder
We want to remind everyone of the importance of RSVPing for each game via PlayMetrics. To secure your player’s spot on the tournament roster, it is crucial that they attend all games. Player commitment is key to the team’s success, and roster spots are not guaranteed if attendance isn’t consistent. Please use the notes section in PlayMetrics to communicate any scheduling conflicts when RSVPing so we can plan accordingly.
Please note: Some rosters are still being finalized, and spots may still be filled throughout the season. If an opening arises for your player, our coaching staff will reach out based on your availability.
New Players and Teams
For our new players and younger teams debuting their tournament season, we are beyond excited to see you in action! In the coming days, you will receive an email request from GotSport (please check your spam/junk folder). Once received, accept the invite to South Tampa Gold’s club team and upload the required documents, including your player's birth certificate and R002 form, to ensure eligibility.
Playmetrics Document Submission
Additionally, you will receive a PlayMetrics form request to upload these same documents so we have them on file for any eligibility issues.

2016 Boys Secure Finalist Spot
in Gold Bracket!
Our 2016 boys had a fantastic weekend, going undefeated in the group stage and earning a spot in the Gold Finals. They played a close match, finishing 3-2 against the Cyclones to take home Silver.
